PROFESSIONAL FEES
Our fees for conducting a search are normally charged on the basis of
one-third (33 1/3%) of the first year's total cash compensation
including bonuses, plus expenses. In order to account for our
time we typically invoice our retainer fee in progress installments over
a three month period.
However, when we are retained to perform a search engagement containing
four or more positions, we reduce our standard professional fees for
that engagement from 33 1/3% to 25%. The positions need not be related,
but in order to qualify for the fee reduction the searches must be
started within an agreed upon time frame.
Expenses are invoiced monthly.
Indirect expenses include expenses for
research, research materials, telephone, online services, messenger
courier, etc., and are 10% of the retainer fee. Direct expenses include consultant and candidate travel,video
conferences, etc. and
are billed separately. Payment of our fees and expenses is not
contingent upon the hiring of one of our candidates.

GUARANTEES
When you authorize us to begin a search assignment we make certain
significant assurances. Given our experience, knowledge, and success in
executive recruiting, we pledge to present candidates who meet the
agreed upon qualifications. We also pledge to continue the search upon
the terms we have outlined until a successful conclusion is achieved. In
addition, we agree to replace a candidate who might voluntarily resign
during the first 18 months of his or her employment. This same assurance
also applies if you find it necessary to request the resignation of a
candidate during the first 18 months for reasons which, had they been
known to you initially, would have precluded their employment. In either
case, we will only bill you for expenses in
seeking a replacement and will not charge an additional professional
fee.
